Construction of the new Victor Harbor CFS Group Centre began in December 2001 and is due for completion in April 2002. The centre is located at Hindmarsh Valley and will have facilities for both the Hindmarsh Valley Brigade and the Victor Group. The upgrade will provide a third truck bay as well as much improved facilities including Brigade and Group communications rooms, a large meeting room, office, kitchen, change rooms, storage areas and improved wet areas.

Construction of the new Group centre includes a complete rebuild of the existing Brigade and Group facilities. Only the original shed frame and doors will be retained, from which the new Centre is being built around.
