24/3/02 Four CFS fire appliances and a Tanker attended the incident,
but little could be saved other than the nearby shed and contents due to the
progress of the fire . As well as the water carried on attending units, additional
water was pumped from a dam in order to extinguish the blaze. Twisted roofing
iron from the house can be seen at the rear, which was removed by firefighters
to extinguish the smouldering fire beneath the collapsed roof.
